Strength For You

I’m Rikki Flanders, a personal trainer, strength coach and Yoga teacher based in the Macedon Ranges, 50km north-west of Melbourne, Australia.

Getting people STRONG is what I love to do. STRONG for sport, STRONG for fun and most importantly STRONG for a long, active and healthy life. It is what I have dedicated my career to since 1999. Wow, 25 years! Training fads have come and gone over that time, but I am all about “old school” science backed methods. Progressive resistance training for a strong healthy body and Yoga for recovery and stress management.

Don’t get me wrong, results are important but in my opinion the process needs to be fun and enjoyable for it to become a life-long habit. I view training and movement as a privilege not a punishment.

I have clients that have been working with me since 2006. What a privilege it is to be a part of their lives for so long. It is not uncommon for people to see their trainer more often than their friends or family, and vice versa. This is something I don’t take for granted.

What you see is what you get. I walk the talk and every day I do my best, but like you I am not perfect. I do not offer quick fixes or overnight results and do not misrepresent myself or my services.
